I think we all acknowledge, even a little bit, how bad pre-packaged foods are for you. Though, some are far less offensive than others, fresh is better. Some days are just not conducive for homemade meals, three times a day.
Vegans and vegetarians will usually (at least those that I know) lean toward a quick salad or veg sandwich when we are pressed for time. But what if there isn't anytime to open a bag of salad?
To this point, I will keep everyone updated as to the latest and greatest finds for quick-fixes when it comes to meals and snacking. I can't promise they will be the most healthy or budget-friendly, but they will be quick and available in most grocery stores.
This week I found myself opening two jarred items on two different occasions. One was a can of Bush's Baked Beans, Vegetarian Style. The other product was a cup of Uncle Ben's Cups, Garden Vegetable.
