Meat-Free Eating Inspiration
Eating vegan (no dairy, meat or eggs) or vegetarian (no meat) is a challenge for most people. The good thing is, there are plenty of us out there who are happy to share recipes, remedies, thoughts, ideas and inspiration on the subject. And that's where I come in.
I've been 90% vegan, 10% vegetarian for a couple of years. Though the weight loss I was hoping for hasn't been as drastic, the change in my overall health has been enough to keep me going. The recipes on this site will be mainly vegan with a few vegetarian options thrown in.
It is important to note that though I choose to eat this way, it is a choice of MINE. I am happy to share but I try to not push my eating habits onto others. For example, my husband does not prefer to eat this way. This means for our family, I usually cook one meat-free main dish for dinner (which I will eat as-is) and add meat to it for him.
These recipes, well most of them, allow you to add meat or other proteins. In general, that's the best thing about recipes and cooking, isn't it? That you can adapt and make something totally your own and be exceptionally happy at the end of the day.
Enjoy my ideas, change them, cook them, make them your own. Be happy, be healthy, and be mooless!
