Yep, it's true--this is a trend, and I'm on-board with it. I don't think it's a bad thing at all to commit to being healthy and "mostly" vegan. The point is that you are being healthy, right? So let's not get our salad spinner in a jam. Instead, let's praise one another for wanting to make a great move toward healthy living, regardless of the percentage of our meals it affects.
While reading this article on "Is it time to go vegan?" I came across this link to a "Vegan Before 6" article. Both are very interesting, but the VB6 got me thinking about today's point of "healthy comes in many forms." It's really about what works for you as an individual. As long as you are making personal strides to living a healthier, happier and kinder life, then everyone else should be supportive--yes, even that angry aunt or questionable neighbor who lingers too long outside your house during her daily walk...you know the one.
